Sebastian Stan has shared a brand new photo from the set of his Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Instagram.
Sebastian Stan returns to the role of The Winter Soldier in Disney Plus’ upcoming The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which sees him and co-star Anthony Mackie bringing going toe-to-toe with Baron Zemo. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be one of many shows on the Disney streaming service that will officially tie into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, giving us a different look at some of our favorite characters.
Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have been hard at work filming the show, though not much has been released through official channels until now. Sebastian Stan took to Instagram today to share a brand new look at his character The Winter Solider. You’ll notice that in the image, Sebastian Stan is rocking shorter hair than his character The Winter Soldier is typically seen with, which hopefully signals some large growth for the once brainwashed Soviet killer.

In the image, Sebastian Stan is in a dingy warehouse filled with graffiti and a daunting puddle of water. In the middle, you’ll find The Winter Soldier himself standing sentry, waiting for the fight to come to him. It’s not much to go off of but it’s certainly nice to see images from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier coming from the cast themselves.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier is currently set to be the first Marvel Studios series to debut on Disney Plus. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series is rumored to center on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as the former finds himself facing resistance from the United States government and its opposition to him taking on the Captain America mantle.
Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, The Falcon and Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent.
